Introduction

The Dayta Academy System comprises two principal areas:

Reports

Academy Reports is intended to fulfil 3 major functions, namely;

• Monthly Management Reporting
• Statutory Reporting
• ESFA Budget Forecast Reporting

In all cases the reports “read” data from Sage 50 and by “re-mapping” the Sage data, and in some cases, adding to it, to present the information in appropriate formats for academies and schools.

Purchase Requisitions

The Dayta ‘Purchase Requisitions’ program allows purchase requisitions to be recorded, authorised and then ‘posted’ to Sage as a purchase order.

The purpose of this documentation is to explain how to set up the system, how to maintain it, and how to gain the most from it. The document is split into two main sections, ‘Reports’ and ‘Purchase Requisitions’, although there is a degree of overlap between the two.  System administrators should be familiar with both sections.
